There are many T.V. shows out there to choose from and that is why I am having trouble doing so. It is difficult to recall the amount of shows that I have watched throughout my whole life but I am going to have to say my favorite show is Seinfeld.

Seinfeld is a comedic T.V. show about nothing.

It contains four main characters, Jerry Seinfeld (played by Jerry Seinfeld), George Costanza (played by Jason Alexander), Kramer (played by Michael Richards) and Elaine Benes (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus), that live in New York city.

The main character, Jerry, is a comedian and is always accompanied by his best friend George. But in every episode, they are all together at some point in time fighting the daily struggles of living in New York.

There are many reasons as to why I like this show. I heard about it all the growing up because it is my dads all time favorite show. He had some type of influence as to why this is my favorite show. My dad even had all the seasons on DVD but I never watched it myself until recently on Hulu. There were many times where I would occasionally catch little snippets of it on T.V. but I wasn’t interested in it back then.

I like Seinfeld the most because it is easy to watch and there are open ended plots that somehow close perfectly. It is truly a light hearted and easy going show that you can watch over and over. There are no emotional attachments in the show or between characters. Therefore, it is for pure enjoyment.

Each episode is about 20 minutes long and starts and ends with the main character, Jerry, in a comedy club performing an act. Throughout each episode there is a new story. Most of the episodes are about them having little difficulties and it eventually blowing up in their faces. Along with that, you could start on any episode and not have to know the background of any character while still enjoying the show. It is the best show that I have watched thus far.
